New Orleans police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened near the Lafitte Greenway.
It happened around 5:15 p.m. Thursday on Lafitte Street near Basin Street.
Investigators responding to a call of shots fired found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. That victim, identified only as a man, later died at a hospital.
