Two major live music festivals take the stage in Jefferson Parish. Today, parish officials announced the lineup for Lafitte Seafood Festival and Uncle Sam Jam.
Lafitte Seafood Festival lineup includes; The Marshall Tucker Band, Gin Blossoms, Revisiting Creedence, Cowboy Mouth, Rockin Doopsie & The Zydeco, Amanda Shaw, and Marc Broussard.
Jean Lafitte Seafood Festival returns to the Town of Jean Lafitte June 25-27, at Jean Lafitte Auditorium and Grounds, 4953 City Park St in Jean Lafitte.
Time: Starting: Fri.5:00pm-11:00pm/Sat. 11:00am--11:00pm/Sun. 11:00am-8:00pm
Price: Admission prices: Friday: $10 Saturday: $20 Sunday: $20 3-day wrist band $45.
Jefferson Parish officials also announced that Uncle Sam Jam is back... with classic rock headliner The Guess Who.
Also headlining, a pop staple of the 1990s, Wilson Philips.
“Descedents of legendary artist, on the Wilson side – the children of Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys, and on the Phillips side – the children of The Momma’s," said Jefferson Parish councilman Dominick Impastato.
Uncle Sam Jam is July 3, in Lafreniere Park 3000 Downs Boulevard in Metairie.
