Lafourche Parish sheriff's deputies say they've arrested a man who shot and killed another earlier this week.
Kayvon Woodside, 25, is facing a second-degree murder charge in the death of Vincent Joseph, 56.
It happened around 6:20 p.m. Tuesday on Lasseign Road in Thibodaux.
Deputies say Woodside shot Joseph several times while Joseph was inside a car. Joseph drove away from the scene, but he crashed into a tree nearly three miles away. He later died at a hospital.
Woodside is also facing a felon in possession of a firearm charge. He remains in jail on $600,000 bond.
