In the chaos shortly before Hurricane Ida made landfall in Southeast Louisiana, many pet owners lost their pets either during the storm of in Ida’s aftermath.
If you lost your pet, the Louisiana SPCA has a list on their website of pets found. You can see if your pet was found and is being sheltered by the LASPCA by visiting their website here.
We are assisting the City of New Orleans with co-located cool-down centers for people and their pets in key neighborhoods throughout the City. You can call 311 504-658-2299 for a full list as they may change day to day.
