Louisiana State Rep. Larry Bagley (R-Stonewall) joined WWL's Newell Normand to discuss why he thinks Louisiana should get rid of vehicle inspections.
"It's a tax that we pay that does not really do anything positive for the state," Bagley argues.
Bagley told Newell that the inspections do little to make sure that cars on Louisiana roads are safe, because a lot can happen to a car in the year between vehicle inspections.
"It's really just a tax that we pay that we shouldn't have to pay," said Bagley.
