The newest data from the Louisiana Department of Health show 22,108 initial doses of the COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Louisiana since its launch last week.
The state’s health department now includes vaccination numbers in their regular data updates.
The department also reports 2,766 more confirmed cases as hospitalizations increased to 1,647, making it the highest rate since April.
Seven more patients were placed on ventilators.
