Numerous clusters of unvaccinated people in Midwest and South are reportedly putting the entire country at risk as the Delta variant races through the nation.

A study by Georgetown University says upwards of 30 clusters with low vaccination rates and sizable population could be harboring COVID-19.

The report also finds that five clusters in the Southeastern U.S. are potentially hazardous to the health of the country.

These clusters are in parts of Georgia and stretching west to Texas and north to southern Missouri.

Clusters are also part of Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Tennessee.

Most of these states, including Louisiana, are seeing increases in Covid-19 cases.

What concerns medical researchers so much is the ability for the Covid-19 virus to mutate.

"We know that if you give the virus the opportunity to circulate and replicate, you give it the opportunity to generate more variants," Dr. Anthony Fauci, told CNN.
