U.S. Attorney Duane Evans announced a grand jury indicted 20-year-old Dominic Romano of Luling on one count of possessing child pornography.
On Friday, a federal grand jury in Eastern District of Louisiana handed up the indictment of one-count of possession of images and videos depicting the sexual exploitation of children under the age of twelve years old.
Authorities confiscated Romano’s laptop and desktop computer as evidence in their case.
If convicted, Romano could face a maximum of twenty 20 years in prison. He could also face a lifetime of supervised release, a $250,000 fine, and could be required to register as a sex offender.
