A Luling man faces 92 counts of sexual abuse of animals, along with two counts of possession of child pornography, after agents of the Louisiana Attorney General's office arrested him this week.
Louisiana Bureau of Investigation agents acted on a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that led them to 58-year-old Dirk Paul Webre, the attorney general's office said.
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office and Homeland Security Investigations also took part in the investigation.
"Unfortunately, these types of crimes our agents never run out of work on," said Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill. "Great work by Our LBI agents, deputies with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff's Office, and Homeland Security Investigations, for getting this disturbing individual off the streets of Luling."
