New Orleans Police are looking for a pair of armed robbers who they say forced a couple to give them a pair of dogs.
"The victims were at the location... in an attempt to sell 2 puppies," according to an initial police report.
NOPD says the man and woman had four children with them when they drove to the 9300 block of Belfast Street to sell the dogs.
"They met with suspect #1, he advised them that he was going to an ATM in order to get cash, and later returned with suspect #2. The second suspect produced a small rifle, took possession of the puppies, and both suspects fled the location."
It happened around 1:30pm in the Hollygrove neighborhood.
