A man and a woman are injured in two separate shootings on Interstate 10 according to the New Orleans Police Department.
The pair of shootings happened early Friday morning.
The first shooting happened on eastbound I-10 at Louisa Street. It happened at about 12:26 a.m. According to an NOPD report, the woman was traveling on I-10 when she heard gunshots and realized she had been struck. The victim drove herself to a local hospital for treatment. Police did not say what condition she was in when she arrived at the hospital.
The second shooting happened also happened on the interstate Friday. This incident happened on westbound I-10 at City Park Avenue. Police say it happened at about 1"19 a.m. Friday morning. They say a man was shot and taken to the hospital by EMS. His condition is also unknown at this time.
