A Slidell Taco Bell worker is under arrest after allegedly robbing his workplace while on the clock.
Police say Steve Douglas, 40, took money from the establishment’s cash register just before midnight on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
When he was questioned by coworkers when the register came up short, Douglas allegedly said he had a weapon then demanded even more money before leaving the restaurant.
Douglas has been charged with first-degree robbery.
