A midday murder in Harvey has deputies looking for a killer.
Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joseph Lopinto reported the homicide around 5:00pm.
"At about 12:20 pm, deputies were dispatched to the area of 38th St. and Esther Drive in reference to a shooting. Upon arriving, they located a male victim inside a vehicle on 38th St.," according to a news release.
The victim was suffering from gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Captain Jason Rivarde says, "There is no additional information to be released at this time."
