A man is dead after a shooting in the Hollygrove section of New Orleans.
According to an NOPD spokesperson, that shooting happened around noon on Thursday on Palmetto Street near Eagle Street.
The spokesperson says when officers arrived on scene, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. That victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
