Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies are looking for clues after they found a man shot to death late Sunday night.
Dispatchers got the call from a home on Beechgrove Boulevard near East Claiborne Parkway around 9 p.m. New Year's Eve.
A sheriff's office spokesperson says when deputies arrived at the scene, they found the wounded victim lying on the floor of the home. Deputies say he was shot once. First responders pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Authorites have not released the victim's name pending notificiation of his family.
