New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a homicide in the Hollygrove neighborhood.
NOPD says it happened in the 2800 block of Monticello Ave.
Police say it was around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday when officers were sent to investigate.
"Initial reports show an adult male gunshot wound victim located on scene," said Aaron Looney in the NOPD Public Information Office. "The victim was declared deceased."
