New Orleans Police say several vehicles hit a man trying to cross the interstate Tuesday night.
"The NOPD is investigating a traffic accident that left a pedestrian dead," according to a news release. "Officers responded to a call of a pedestrian struck on I-10 East bound near the Bullard Avenue exit."
It happened around 10:30pm.
"They discovered an unidentified male in the far left lane of the interstate. The victim suffered multiple injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene."
Cops say they determined that the male victim had attempted to cross the interstate.
"He was struck by multiple vehicles."
Investigators say all of the drivers involved stayed on scene.
