A local business owner put out a plea for information on Facebook after a theft was caught on camera.
John Blancher, owner of Rock N' Bowl, posted an array of pictures to Facebook Thursday. The photos were screengrabs from security footage that showed three individuals perpetrating the theft of a statue of the Virgin Mary next to Ye Olde College Inn.

"These three individuals stole one of the angels in our Blessed Mother rock garden next to Ye Olde College Inn. A police report has been filed but if the statue is returned before their arrest we won’t file charges. If them or their vehicle is familiar, please share," Blancher wrote in the post.
The post has already been reshared almost 500 times.
One commenter responded that the individuals had patronized the establishment earlier in the evening.
"And they were customers….guess they felt like they deserved more. The Good Lord knows what they did and they will pay," he wrote.
UPDATE: Blancher confirms to WWL that the statue has been returned.
