New Orleans Police say 64-year-old Gentilly man was not having it, when a criminal with a gun tried to rob him.
It happened around 6:00pm not far from the Fairgrounds.
"Suspect approached victim while armed with gun and demanded victim’s keys," according to an initial police report. "Victim refused and went inside of his residence."
NOPD says the armed robber then "fled on foot."
This was in the 1600 block of North Dupre Street.
