A New Orleans man is in a hospital after police say someone poured a flammable liquid on him and set him on fire.
The incident happened just after 7 p.m. on North Roman Street near Pauger Street in the Seventh Ward.
According to police, the victim suffered burns to his arms and legs. His condition was not disclosed.
Investigators called the act “deliberate” and have classified the case as an aggravated battery.
