A shooting around 6:00am has left a man dead.
"The NOPD is currently investigating a Homicide in the 9000 block of Middleboro Rd. in N.O. East," according to an email from Public Information Officer Garry Flot.
No word if there are any suspects.
"No further information is available at this time."
