New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a homicide in the 1800 block of Hollygrove Street. That's in the Leonidas neighborhood near the Sewerage & Water Board's Carrollton treatment plant.
Police say shortly after 12:47 a.m. Saturday, officers were sent to investigate a call of a man shot in that location.
Instead, NOPD says officers found a man who appeared to be suffering blunt trauma, not gunshots. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
