New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the 1900 block of North Broad. It happened outside a McDonald's. At least one bullet pierced the glass of the door to the business.
Police say shortly after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, officers were sent to investigate a call of a man shot in that location.
"Initial reports show a male gunshot wound victim has been declared deceased on scene," said police in an email to news media.
