A deadly New Year’s Day in New Orleans continues with a fatal shooting in New Orleans East.
According to NOPD investigators, that shooting happened just before 7 p.m. on the North I-10 Service Road near Crowder Boulevard.
Authorities say when they arrived, they found the victim dead of a gunshot wound. Investigators are gathering evidence. So far, no suspects have been identified.
