New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the 4800 block of Major Drive.
Police say shortly before 3:30 a.m. Saturday, officers were sent to investigate a call of a man shot in that location.
"Upon arrival, officers located an adult male, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds," said police in a statement. "The victim was declared deceased on scene."
