A man is in the hospital after a Monday afternoon shooting in New Orleans East.
Police say they learned about the shooting around 3:30 p.m. after the victim arrived at a hospital seeking treatment for a torso wound. Officers later learned the shooting happened near the corner of Benson and Dinkins Streets. Officials say the victim's condition is stable.
Police have not yet identified any suspects.
