The New Orleans Police Department is asking the public to help them find five specialty sculptured tricycles.
The unique tricycles are used for Mardi Gras parades. They were stolen from a garage in the Bywater.
According to police, the five trikes were stolen early Sunday morning from storage in the 3700 block of Dauphine Street.
Most of the tricycles were damaged, and the sculptures removed, but police say the seahorse tricycle, shown here, is believed to still be intact and should be easily recognizable.
Anyone with information about this incident can contact NOPD Fifth District Detectives at (504) 658-6050 or Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111 or toll free at (877) 903-7867 (STOP).
