A community COVID-19 vaccine event is happening north of the lake.
The Louisiana Department of Health partnered with the Louisiana National Guard, to host a drive -thru COVID-19 Community Vaccination event Today, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the St. Tammany Parish Fairgrounds located at 1304 North Columbia Street in Covington.
We are fortunate to have the facility to accommodate the Louisiana Office of Public Health and the Louisiana National Guard for this Vaccination Clinic. Now that eligibility is open to everyone 16 and older, and opportunities continue to become available, I urge everyone who would like to receive the vaccine to schedule an appointment,” St. Tammany Parish President Mike Cooper said. “We are moving in the right direction, and we want to stay on this path.”
