Police in New Orleans report that they are searching for three men they say robbed two other men at gunpoint as they were waiting for police following a car accident on I-10.
The armed robbery happened about 9:57 p.m. Monday night. Police say the two men were involved in a car accident on I-10 at the South Claiborne Avenue exit.
As the two men waited for NOPD officers to arrive, an NOPD report says the men were approached by the two suspects who then robbed them of their cell phone and cash.
One of the suspects fired shots at the victims who sustained graze wounds. The suspects then fled the scene before police arrived.
