UPDATE: A missing teen has been found, and police say he is safe after a suspected kidnapping.

"Investigators with the New Orleans Police Department and Louisiana Critical Response Emergency Search Team (CREST) located him safe. Please remove any photographs of him. Tommie Mango has also been located. This incident remains under investigation, and questions should be directed to the New Orleans Police Department," Louisiana State Police said in an advisory.

Police are asking for help finding a missing teen, Trenton Reeves.

"Family reports that Reeves is non-verbal and has a medical condition that may impair his judgment," Louisiana State Police Sgt. Ross Brennan released.

LSP issued a Level II Endangered/Missing Child Advisory after NOPD reported a "simple kidnapping."

"17-year-old Trenton Reeves... was discovered missing on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at approximately 9:37 p.m. from a residence on Eastview Drive in New Orleans. Reeves is believed to have left the residence with Tommie Mango."

Brennan says LSP received the request to issue an alert at approximately 1:30am today.

"Reeves is a white male with brown eyes and short brown hair. He is 5’6” tall and weighs approximately 145 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, and black shoes."

They also released the description of the individual suspected to be with Reeves.

"Tommie Mango is a black male with brown eyes and black hair. He is 6’1” tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds," according to Louisiana State Police,

NOPD says, "Reeves was last seen on June 10, 2026, at about 10:07 p.m. at the residence of his caregiver, approaching the caregiver’s vehicle and accompanied by the caregiver’s adult son. Subsequently, the caregiver exited the residence to discover both subjects and her vehicle all to be missing from the location."

They are believed to be traveling in a brown 2014 Mercedes-Benz ML350 bearing Louisiana license plate “Save the Honeybee” HB 1576..

Police say anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Reeves and Mango should immediately contact the New Orleans Police Department at 504-821-2222 or call 911.
