New Orleans police are investigating a fatal shooting that claimed the lives of two adults and injured another in the 6100 block of Tullis Drive Sunday afternoon.
Fourth District officers were called to the scene of an aggravated battery by shooting around 1:40 p.m.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered three victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
An adult male and an adult female were pronounced dead on scene.
The third female victim was transported to the hospital by EMS.
Investigators are in the process of gathering evidence and information that will help them identify the person(s) responsible for this incident, as well as a motive.
