Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office homicide detectives are investigating a triple homicide.

Shortly before 11 a.m., the sheriff's office announced they were investigating a shooting near the intersection of Scott Street and Shrewsbury Road.

"We have three victims back there suffering form apparent gunshot wounds," said Lopinto.

The sheriff said the killings appear to have happened recently, but is not sure if the crime happened today.

The victims reportedly are a man and two women.
