The new Mayor of New Orleans can't update the city's social media, saying the former mayor and her team won't share the passwords.
Moreno Communications Director Isis Casanova said, "Unfortunately, our team did not receive key security credentials and accurate passwords to access city social media accounts despite requests throughout the transition."
She says in a news release that they have also turned to the platform providers.
"we’ve elevated this issue to the highest levels at the social media companies and aim to resolve this as soon as possible."
