U.S.
Attorney Duane A. Evans announced that Eriston Wilson,28, of New Orleans is sentenced to 272 months, or about 22 years, in prison for armed robberies at gas stations and convenience stores. He was sentenced on Wednesday.

Wilson committed armed robberies at three Shell Gas Stations on General de Gaulle Drive and multiple convenience stores on the West Bank and in the Seventh Ward according to the District Attorney.

In August of 2019, Wilson was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit “Hobbs Act” robbery and one count of brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence said a Department of Justice report.

The DOJ says Wilson was found guilty by a jury in December 2019 on both counts. Judge Africk sentenced WILSON to 272 months in the Bureau of Prisons, 60 months of supervised release, and $200 in mandatory special assessment fees.
