The Krewe of Nefertiti will roll today, despite the wet weather.
For 2023 the theme of this all-female krewe is "Nefertiti Roar".
The service oriented krewe, Nefertiti, will kick off it's spectacular at 1pm in New Orleans East.
The 200 members and 14 floats will make their way down Lake Forest Boulevard near the intersection with Bullard.
The roll will proceed past Joe Brown Park and on Read Boulevard.
From there Nefertiti will progress down to Chef Menteur Highway where they will U-turn back on Read near Dwyer Road and arrive at their final destination of New Orleans East Hospital.
