Due to the threat of heavy rain, the city of New Orleans has suspended parking restrictions so people can move their cars to the neutral ground to try and avoid curbside flooding.
The restrictions are lifted through 8 p.m.
Car owners are reminded not to block intersections or streetcar tracks.
Drivers are also cautioned to take care to avoid street flooding, especially at underpasses.
