Despite the minimal threat of heavy rain in the city of New Orleans Saturday night, city officials are allowing residents to park on the neutral ground overnight tonight.
According to NOLA Ready, neutral ground parking will be allowed until 8 a.m. Sunday morning. Drivers who take advantage of neutral ground parking are urged not to block intersections, streetcar tracks, sidewalks, or bike paths.
Drivers are also urged not to drive through flooded streets.
