Today, members of the New Orleans City Council will hold an after-action meeting to discuss Hurricane Francine's impacts on the city's utilities and infrastructure.
Officials from both the Sewerage & Water Board and Entergy will be at this meeting to answer questions.
City council president Helena Moreno says she's really concerned about how hard it was to get information from the drainage agency.
"The lack of communication that was getting to the media, that was getting to the public, as to what is going on," she told WWL's Newell Normand.
Moreno says this meeting here at New Orleans City Hall isn't about berating any one utility, but about finding out what went wrong, so they can it right the next time.
"Let's figure out what failed, and how do we make sure we don't fail next time," she said. "What needs to be put in place, starting now, so that we're better prepared for next time around."
The meeting begins at 10 a.m.
