A shooting in New Orleans East has landed one person in the hospital.
According to a New Orleans Police Department spokesperson, that shooting happened around 10 p.m. Friday on Gawain Drive just north of Chef Menteur Highway. The victim suffered a body wound. An EMS crew took the victim to the hospital.
