A man is dead, three women are hospitalized and another man is wounded after shootings Sunday in New Orleans East.
NOPD sent a notification at 6:45 about both incidents.
Bullets in the shooting in the 7700 block of Shubert Street hit four people.
"There are two female victims and two male victims. One of the male victims passed away," Public Information Officer Paris Holmes said in an email.
The three surviving victims are being treated at the hospital.
In the incident, one woman was shot.
"The NOPD is investigating a shooting that occurred at the intersection of Saigon and Henri Drives."
Holmes said that initial reports indicated there was one female victim.
"She is also being transported to the hospital."
