Developers of the collapsed Hard Rock Hotel and nearly two dozen other defendants have agreed to a $106 million settlement with nearly 500 plaintiffs, WWL-TV reports.
The 2019 collapse of the under-construction hotel killed three workers and shut down the corner of Canal St. and Rampart St. for months.
A mediator appointed by Judge Kern Reese will oversee the process of divvying up the settlement between 490 claimants.
