The city of New Orleans could be relaxing a few more restrictions by the end of the week -- New Orleans Mayor's Office spokesman Beau Tidwell says the data look good so far.
"We've been very encouraged," said Tidwell at the weekly Tuesday morning Mayor's Office news conference. "The metrics are all pointing in the right direction, everything is moving in a way that the mayor and our health leaders are very comfortable with. We do anticipate an announcement later this week on the move to 3.2."
Tidwell says there should be more to announce on Thursday. Phase 3.2 would mean bars can have outdoor seating, outdoor sporting events can have more fans, and religious gatherings can have more congregants.
