The threat of flooding rains and thunderstorms has forced New Orleans city leaders to allow residents to park in the neutral ground through Friday evening.
According to NOLAReady, neutral ground parking is allowed until 8 p.m. Friday. Residents who take advantage of neutral ground parking are reminded not to block sidewalks, intersections, bike paths, or street car paths.
Orleans, Jefferson, and Plaquemines Parishes are under a flash flood warning until 6:15 p.m.
