Cops have booked a man in a pair of attacks that left victims with severe burns.
"New Orleans Police have arrested a suspect wanted for two separate arson attacks on individual victims," according to a news release.
Investigators did not say why 32-year-old Allen Harris allegedly set the victims on fire.
NOPD released the following details:
- On August 3, 2026 in the 1900 block of North Roman Street the suspect doused the adult male victim with a flammable liquid and ignited the liquid, causing serious burns.
- On August 8, 2026 in the 1600 block of Elysian Fields Avenue the suspect doused the adult male victim with a flammable liquid and ignited the liquid, causing serious burns.
The investigation included ATF agents.
Harris faces two counts of attempted murder.
