Cops say that during an investigation into someone shooting up a car, they discovered the suspect had a number of guns.
"On August 8, 2026 in the 2100 block of Saint Maurice Street Somige Augustine fired a rifle multiple times, striking the victim's vehicle," according to a news release.
The car's owner reported the suspect also threatened him with a handgun.
"Through investigation, Somige Augustine was identified as being the suspect and an arrest warrant was obtained."
When they went to pick up the 47-year-old suspect, they say they discovered more than half a dozen guns.
"The pictured firearms (7) and narcotics were found inside the residence with the suspect."
Augustine now faces multiple charges.
