New Orleans Police say a man faces charges after allegedly running down and stabbing a pair of people who had been in his home.
"The victims went to the suspect's apartment, where a verbal altercation ensued," NOPD wrote in an initial police report. "During the altercation, the suspect became irate."
Witnesses say the teen girl and adult man ran out of the residence in the 3700 block of South Carrollton Avenue just before noon Wednesday.
"The suspect chased the victims down Stroelitz St, at which time the altercation became physical. The suspect produced a small knife and stabbed both victims."
Arriving officers arrested 63-year-old Derrick Anderson.
"The victims were transported to a local hospital."
