New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the 7000 block of Lawrence Road in New Orleans East.
WWL-TV reports it happened in the WIllows Apartments.
Police say shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday, officers were sent to investigate
"Initial report show an adult male gunshot wound victim who has been declared deceased on scene," police said in a notification.

Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
