
The pastor of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Treme is suspended after allegations he raped a boy in 2008, The Times-Picayune | New Orleans Advocate reports.
The Archdiocese of New Orleans suspended the Rev. John Asare-Dankwah after the lawsuit was filed today. It alleges Asare-Dankwah assaulted a pre-teen boy during an out-of-state trip.
The suspension will remain in effect pending the outcome of a church investigation.
