It's the final preseason game for the New Orleans Saints tonight. Fans wanting to see Tyler Shough in action will have to wait a couple more weeks.

A lot starters and projected starters sat for most preseason games, with coach Kellen Moore preferring to evaluate them in joint practices with other teams. So for fans wanting to see if Tyler Shough has taken those next steps, they'll have to wait for the season opener. But the Voice of the Saints, Mike Hoss, believes fans will like what they see come September 13.

"I feel like he's proven enough, he's mature enough, he's shown enough, and when he came back this offseason, it was a different Tyler. It was his team," Hoss said.

The Saints' opposition tonight is also going to be evaluating backups and the depth chart.

"Dallas is doing the same thing. Dallas has not played a starter at all this preseason," said Hoss. "Dallas had two joint practices: one with us, one with the Rams. We had three joint practices; one with Dallas, one with the Rams, and then another one with Jacksonville."

The Saints take on the Dallas Cowboys tonight at AT&T stadium at 7 p.m. and you can hear it right here on WWL. Coverage begins at 3 p.m. with Fans First Take with Steve Geller and Charlie Long.
