“She has to be all things to all people, and it never works. It doesn’t work that way. The realities of life don’t always align. And that’s the problem that chameleons have in politics.”

That was Newell Normand’s critique Friday of Vice President Kamala Harris as her campaign for the Presidency continues to ramp up.

Normand said that while he believes Harris tells people what they want to hear, she can’t change who she is at her core.

“Her heart is a socialist,” he said. “Her heart is being the progressive. That’s what she’s been her entire career. Don't be fooled. Once her record is ultimately revealed throughout and she’s totally vetted, you’re not going to see any other picture.”

Normand’s criticism extended to Harris’s new running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, as well.

“He openly admits to being a progressive,” Normand said. “So there can be no argument about this. There are those that are trying to moderate him as well… Given the choice of being far left or progressive – that was what was asked of him – he said, ‘I’m a progressive.’”
